Microchipping

A microchip implant is an identifying integrated circuit placed under the skin of an animal. The chip, about the size of a large grain of rice, uses passive RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology, and is also known as a PIT tag (for Passive Integrated Transponder).

With a microchip implant, a pet has a much higher chance of being found if lost. Lost pets account for the majority of all pet deaths!  This chip will have a number that is specific to your pet.  When scanned, any veterinarian, shelter or rescue group will be able to call the microchip company and retrieve your information.  Please be sure to update your information if you relocate.  Don't let your pet lose its way.

*If procedure not performed during vaccination clinic or mobile clinic, there will be a $10 tech fee.*

*Client will be responsible for registering their pet with microchip company.
